Job summary
The Cincinnati VA Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with leadership skills to support Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Interventional Vascular Lab and interventional pain procedures. The RN will oversee complex procedural care with expert leadership and innovative care approaches.
Applicants must have an approved nursing degree, a current RN license, and be proficient in English.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and licensed in the applicable state.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure required, with possible temporary appointment followed by permanent status.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and interventional procedures; manage pre- and post-procedure care.
- Provide hemodynamic monitoring and sedation support as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and multi-disciplinary teams to plan and execute care.
- Adhere to VA policies,Safety and clinical guidelines; participate in process improvements.
