Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital – New Hampshire is seeking a Interventional Care Patient Care Technician to join our nursing team. You will support RNs with vital signs, mobility, personal care, and safety, helping create a welcoming environment for patients.

This full-time night shift: 36 hours per week, 6p-6a, every other weekend and rotating holidays. Requirements include NH LNA license or CNA, BCLS within 30 days, and high school diploma; 6 months of LNA/CNA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA or LNA certification required or in progress
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 6 months of LNA/CNA experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
