Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens coverage. The role involves 24-hour call coverage and invasive cardiac procedures at two hospitals with APP support for inpatient rounds and consults.

Credentialing is expected within 45–60 days. EMR used is eClinicalWorks (ECW); active North Carolina license is required. Start date ASAP, competitive pay rates are offered. AMN Healthcare arranges malpractice insurance and manages travel and lodging arrangements.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Interventional Cardiology required.
• Active North Carolina medical license required.

This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 24 hour call coverage
• Practice Setting: Inpatient coverage at two hospitals (Trident Hospital and Summerville) with Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support for inpatient rounding and consults
• Type of cases and required procedures: invasive cardiac procedures and responding to Interventional Cardiology call. Physician will cover approximately two-thirds of the call schedule.
• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): eClinicalWorks (ECW)
• Certifications required: Board Certified Interventional Cardiology
• Licensure required: Active North Carolina license
