Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Active medical license (NC) required (per the posting).

Responsibilities

• Provide invasive cardiac procedures and respond to interventional cardiology calls.
• Cover inpatient rounds and consults with APP support at two hospitals.
• Share call duties, approximately two-thirds of the on-call schedule.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: 24 hour call coveragePractice Setting: Inpatient coverage at two hospitals (Trident Hospital and Summerville) with Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support for inpatient rounding and consultsType of cases and required procedures: invasive cardiac procedures and responding to Interventional Cardiology call. Physician will cover approximately two-thirds of the call schedule.Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 daysElectronic Medical Record (EMR): eClinicalWorks (ECW)Certifications required: Board Certified Interventional CardiologyLicensure required: Active North Carolina license
