Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Interventional Cardiology team at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital Center, with coverage at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. This is a full-time, 36-hour-per-week position primarily based at Union Memorial with occasional coverage at Franklin Square.

The NP/PA will handle pre-procedure prep and post-procedure recovery, collaborate with experienced APP peers and physicians, and work three 12-hour shifts per

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Experienced Acute Care APP (PA, AGACNP, or ACNP).
• License/Certification/Registration as applicable.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities appropriate to clinical experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-procedure prep and post-procedure recovery of Interventional Cardiology patients.
• Collaborate with experienced APP peers and physicians to learn and grow in their careers.

Education
