Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiac Surgery team at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. You will work inpatient on pre- and post-operative care, developing plans of care, with shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.

A commitment of at least two 10-hour shifts per month is required. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of clinical experience and a background in cardiac surgery or a surgical setting.

We are looking for a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiac Surgery team at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. We’re helping move cardiovascular care forward regionally and nationally through our MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute, with clinical research, better diagnostic tools, and advanced treatments that are always patient focused.

This role will be inpatient, and PRN. Primarily the duties of the role will be pre and post op care and determining plan of care. The shifts will include days, evenings and weekends and be a commitment of at least (2) ten hour shifts per month.

Interested candidates must have 1-2 years of clinical experience. The ideal candidate will have background experience in Cardiac surgery or a surgical setting.

This position has a hiring range of

USD $80.00 - USD $90.00 /Hr.
