Job summary

Montefiore seeks an experienced Physician Assistant to join the Interventional Cardiology CTO program in a high-volume tertiary care setting in New York. You will work with cardiologists, APRNs, nurses, and staff to evaluate and treat complex coronary disease, covering inpatient consults, post-procedure, and outpatient care.

The ideal candidate has NYS PA licensure, NCCPA certification, and PA program graduate status; interventional cardiology experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and NYS PA license required.
NCCPA certification credential required.
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Experience in interventional cardiology preferred but not required.
No nights or weekends.
OHS Fit Test and OHS Annual Assessment.
PA will cover Moses, Weiler and outpatient clinics.

Responsibilities

Review patient histories, perform exams, and manage care for CTO patients.
Support physicians in planning and coordinating care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Document care in NYHRE EHR and maintain clear clinical notes.
Collaborate with OR, nursing, and care management for integrated plans.
Write medical orders for nursing and CNM follow-up.
Assist in maintaining supply inventory and ensure availability.
