Job summary

Montefiore in New York seeks an experienced Physician Assistant to join the Interventional Cardiology CTO program in a high-volume tertiary care setting. The PA will work with cardiologists, nurses, and APPs to evaluate and treat patients undergoing CTO interventions across inpatient consult, post-procedure, and outpatient clinics.

Candidates must be licensed in NY as a PA, NCCPA certified, and graduate of an accredited PA program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and NYS PA license required.
• NCCPA certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Interventional cardiology experience preferred.
• No night/weekend shifts.
• Ability to cover Moses, Weiler, and outpatient clinics.

Responsibilities

• Support a high-volume tertiary CTO program integrated with interventional cardiology physicians and staff.
• Coordinate care for patients in inpatient consult, post-procedure, and outpatient settings.

Overview

The Department of Interventional Cardiology is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to work in our Cath Lab and join our growing Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) Program. The PA will work collaboratively with interventional cardiologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and ancillary staff to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex coronary artery disease undergoing evaluation and treatment for CTO interventions.

Responsibilities

This role is integral to supporting a high-volume, tertiary care CTO program focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes, advancing innovative therapies, and enhancing the patient experience throughout the continuum of care. As part of this dynamic team the PA will be collaborating with physicians and other health care providers in the planning, evaluation, and coordination of care for our patients in the new inpatient consult, post procedure, and outpatient clinical settings.

Requirements

Note: This position requires flexibility to work across multiple campusesPA will be asked to cover both our Moses, Weiler and outpatient clinics

• Bachelor’s degree coupled with Registered as a Physician Assistant in New York State required


• NCCPA certified


• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.


• Experience in interventional cardiology/cardiology preferred, but not required.


• No nights/weekends
