Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center's Department of Interventional Cardiology seeks an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Cath Lab and our Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) program. The PA will collaborate with interventional cardiologists, APPs, nurses and staff to care for patients undergoing CTO procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with NYS PA licensure.
• NCCPA certification.
• Graduate of an accredited PA program.
• Experience in interventional cardiology preferred but not required.
• No nights or weekends.
• OHS Fit Test.
• OHS Annual Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with complex coronary disease undergoing CTO interventions.
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, nurses and staff in Cath Lab and outpatient settings.
• Support planning and coordination of care across inpatient and outpatient teams.
