Job summary

University Health is seeking a Nurse Clinical Specialist Coordinator to streamline care for patients referred to the Interventional Cardiology Clinic. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, triage referrals, and help schedule provider visits to support timely treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure in Texas; BSN preferred.
• Three years hospital experience preferred; cardiovascular or interventional cardiology preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, terminology, and clinical workflow.
• Familiarity with cath lab operations, imaging, and post-procedure care.
• Experience with patient navigation or care coordination in cardiology preferred.
• Proficiency in Epic or other major EHR systems preferred.

• Coordinate and streamline care for patients referred to the Interventional Cardiology Clinic.
• Triage referred patients and facilitate timely provider scheduling.
• Ensure continuity of care across outpatient and inpatient settings.
