Job summary

St. Louis Heart and Vascular is seeking a full-time Cardiac Cath Lab Scrub Technician in Bridgeton, MO. This critical position supports life-saving cardiac procedures and requires a high school diploma and completion of a relevant program. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and experience in a catheterization lab.

You will assist during procedures and be responsible for maintaining equipment and providing patient care. Competitive compensation and benefits, including 401K and healthcare options, are offered.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a catheterization lab or operating room preferred.
• Certification as Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Proficient in scrubbing for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the catheterization lab ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
• Assist with the sterilization and set-up of sterile fields.
• Scrub in to assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
