Job summary

University Health Careers seeks a Nurse Clinical Specialist Coordinator to optimize care for patients referred to the Interventional Cardiology Clinic. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, triage referrals, and facilitate timely scheduling to ensure smooth transitions between outpatient and inpatient settings.

The role also serves as a liaison among referring providers, the interventional team, and patients, supporting program growth through outreach and data management.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas required.
• Three years recent, full-time hospital experience preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular or interventional cardiology nursing preferred.
• Familiarity with catheterization lab operations, cardiovascular imaging, and post-procedure workflows.
• Prior experience with patient navigation or care coordination in a cardiology setting preferred.
• Proficiency in Epic or other major EHR systems.
