Job summary

CT Assist is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for per diem and inpatient coverage in Illinois. The role involves performing a broad range of coronary and peripheral interventions, using radial and femoral access, and collaborating with the EPIC EMR system for patient care.

The candidate will participate in STEMI call coverage and read EKGs/Echos for unassigned patients while ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive cardiovascular procedures including PCI, stent placement, IVUS guidance, and device-assisted therapies as part of the interventional team.
• Read EKGs and echocardiograms for unassigned patients and participate in STEMI call coverage as needed.

• Interventional Cardiologist, Per Diem
• Dates: Dec 18-22
• Shifts: 7a-4p and 24-hr STEMI Call
• Inpatient
• Cases/Procedures: Right and left heart catheterization including ventriculography and angiography, temporary pacemaker, PTCA, DCA, TEC atherectomy, rotational atherectomy, angiojet thrombectomy, intravascular ultrasound, coronary stents, endomyocardial biopsy, peripheral angiogram, peripheral atherectomy, peripheral stent, peripheral vessel angioplasty, transesophageal echo, IVUS, Impella, and integrated ultrasound. Provider will also read Echos and EKGs for unassigned patients.
