Mary Washington Healthcare in Virginia seeks an experienced physician specializing in Interventional Cardiology to evaluate and treat patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role involves performing TTE/TEE, diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, and advanced structural heart procedures such as TAVR and Watchman, in collaboration with the Structural Heart Team and teaching trainees.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted Virginia medical license.
• Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology and General Cardiology.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• DEA license.
• PCI Echocardiogram Imaging Certification.

Responsibilities

• Call coverage at Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital.
• Perform TTE/TEE and emergency cardiac procedures.
• Perform diagnostic catheterizations and coronary angiography.
• Perform PCI and stent placements.
• Perform structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip/TEER, Watchman).
• Collaborate with Structural Heart Team for treatment planning.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care.
• Precept students, residents, and fellows.
