LocumTenens.com, LLC is seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist for inpatient 24-hour call coverage in Paducah, KY. The clinician will perform cardiac catheterizations, coronary angiograms, angioplasty, and PCI as part of a dedicated cardiology team.

Board certification in Interventional Cardiology and prescriptive authority are required, with 3–7 days of monthly coverage. Expect on-site work in a regional medical center serving a four-state area.

About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians will provide inpatient interventional cardiology and EMTALA call coverage on a 24-hour call basis, working 3-7 days per month alongside an established interventional cardiology team. Clinical responsibilities include performing cardiac catheterizations, coronary angiograms, angioplasty, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs), as well as responding to all hospital cardiology calls and providing general cardiology consultations as needed. Clinicians are also required to interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests, including nuclear studies, throughout each assigned coverage period. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology and prescriptive authority are required for consideration.
