Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is recruiting a full-time, board-certified/eligible Cardiologist (Interventional) at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Louisiana. The physician will focus on arrhythmia management, perform diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology, and teach fellows, residents and students.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Board certification in cardiovascular disease or interventional cardiology preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical cardiology services with focus on arrhythmia management.
• Teach cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures including pacemakers and ICDs.
• Contribute to quality assurance and MCCR cost recovery program goals.
