Job summary

Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for the VA St. Louis MO Health Care System. The role involves comprehensive cardiovascular care, including catheter-based interventions, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Treat a range of heart and vascular conditions through cardiac catheterization.
• Perform procedures such as balloon angioplasty, stent insertion, and pacemaker/defibrillator implementation as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the inter-disciplinary health care team to evaluate and manage patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Supervise and educate Internal Medicine Residents and medical students from Saint Louis VA affiliates.
