Job summary

VitalSolution is seeking a Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist in the United States. This role offers a structured block schedule with only 182.5 working days per year, providing flexibility and stability while earning a full-time salary.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology.
• Performed at least 50 PCIs in the last 12 months.
• Louisiana license facilitation provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inpatient consults and rounding.
• Manage outpatient cardiology clinic.
• Provide 24/7 call during block schedule.
• Perform Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) assessments.
• Conduct instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR) testing.

Skills

Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology

Experience with PCIs

Knowledge of nuclear cardiology studies

Schedule

• Enjoy only 182.5 working days per year with a structured block schedule (7 days on/7 days off) while earning a competitive full-time salary. 1-3 year contract. Where flexibility meets stability. Block scheduling gives you predictable time on and true time off.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Inpatient consults and rounding
• Outpatient cardiology clinic
• 24/7 call during block schedule
• Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)
• Instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR)
• IVUS
• Nuclear cardiology studies
• Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• Supervise or interpret stress testing

Procedures

• Cardioversion
• IABP
• Temporary Pacemakers
• Pacemaker Implants (preferred but not required)
• Peripheral Intervention

Collaborative Environment

Work closely with APP

Requirements

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
• 50 PCIs in the last 12 months
• Louisiana license: IMLC State – Licensure facilitation provided
