Job summary

Mount Carmel is seeking an Interventional Radiographer to scrub into procedures and operate x-ray equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The role requires a 30-minute call response and the ability to report to Mount Carmel St. Ann's within 30 minutes.

Day shift, full-time employment. Responsibilities include performing interventional procedures, accurate RIS charge entry, and On-Call coverage, with strict adherence to Radiation Safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and valid Ohio Radiologic License.
• CPR certification maintained.
• 2 years work experience in diagnostic radiography; angiography, cardiac catheterization, or surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs interventional procedures to ensure optimal image quality and safety.
• Enters on-line charges in the RIS system and is accountable for charges per policy with high accuracy.
• Participates in On-Call coverage as applicable.
• Follows Radiation Safety guidelines as outlined in Mount Carmel policies.
