Job summary

Baptist hospital seeks a Rad Tech with ARRT certification to perform imaging procedures per radiology standards. Requires BLS within 30 days of hire and ACLS within 3 months. Minimum 6 months experience in the cardiac cath area and ARRT(R) license; state licensure as required.

Preferred VI RCIS or ARRT(VI) certification. The role supports patient diagnosis and treatment with imaging-guided procedures and ongoing equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) registry required to practice radiology.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification due within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of Radiologic principles/theory and uses appropriate technique and positioning for optimal results.
• Develops the procedure/treatment plan.
• Implements plan per hospital protocols/guidelines.
• Completes documentation per hospital policies.
• Maintains equipment and rooms in safe, neat condition.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities to ensure standards.
• Completes assigned goals.
