Job summary

oumedicine at University of Oklahoma Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This full-time role supports interventional and radiologic cardiovascular services for adult and pediatric patients, with 10-hour shifts and call as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program required.
• Preferred: a CAAHEP-accredited program with emphasis in cardiovascular or radiologic technology.
• Must meet ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI eligibility within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the competencies for a Level I position and delivers safe, high quality patient care.
• Prepares patients for procedures and correlates history with orders.
• Assists with highly specialized imaging and interventional procedures.
• Transfers images/data to archives and supports physician reporting.
• Performs basic QC, cleaning and maintenance per guidelines.
• Mentors less experienced team members and participates in CE.
