Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare lab for procedures; calibrate recording equipment; arrange instruments using aseptic technique.
• Verify patient identity and review allergies; ensure pre-operative studies and medications are complete.
• Position patient, connect leads, prepare entry site, and reassure patient during procedure.
• Monitor vital signs and ECG data; recognize arrhythmias and physiologic changes; maintain patient comfort.
• Record data and prepare information for physician interpretation; document events and equipment used during procedures.
