Job summary

Henry Ford Health, based in Detroit, is seeking staff to assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. You will scrub or monitor, operate CCL equipment, and help ensure patient safety by recognizing arrhythmias and responding per protocols.

The role requires a minimum 1 year clinical experience in Cath Lab or Radiology, with BCLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire. A 36-hour weekly schedule and call requirements are included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Sciences program (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, etc.).
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience, preferably in Cath Lab or Radiology; registry eligible.
• Valid BCLS; ACLS within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic/interventional procedures by performing Scrub or Monitor functions.
• Operate and maintain equipment and supplies in the Cardiovascular Lab (CCL).
• Ensure patient safety by recognizing cardiac arrhythmias and responding per emergency protocols.
• Operate external cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators as needed.

Location: Henry Ford Detroit

Schedule: 36hrs per week plus call requirements, Rotating Shift

• Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, or Cardiac or Vascular Sonography, or equivalent academic program and experience).
• Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience, preferably in Cath Lab or Radiology, and/or registry eligible.
• Valid BCLS certification required; ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensure or Certification in degree field preferred.
