Job summary

Elko Community Health Center LLC is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform imaging procedures, prepare contrast materials, and ensure patient safety in a high-demand clinical setting.

The role requires a radiologic technologist license, at least 2 years of radiography experience, BLS certification, and prior Cardiac Catheterization Lab exposure. The position is full-time and on-site in Elko, NV.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current licensing/registration as a radiology technologist.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in radiography.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Previous experience working in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble medical and surgical supplies and maintain sterile processing areas.
• Position imaging equipment and patients for examinations as requested by physician.
• Monitor patient conditions and reactions and report abnormal signs to physician.
• Explain procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort during scans.
• Use radiation safety measures and comply with government regulations.
• Review and evaluate images for diagnostic quality and determine x-ray needs.
• Coordinate with operating room staff for procedures.
• Assist with training of new employees or students and maintain records.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent

Current licensing/registration as a radiology technologist

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
