Atlas-Healthcare-Partners-LL is seeking a Part-time Cardiac Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to perform diverse imaging procedures in a freestanding Cath Lab. The candidate will scrub and pan cardiovascular arterial and venous studies under the guidance of cardiology and radiology staff, ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety.

The role requires ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, state licensure compliance, and current ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist program.
• Must hold ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certifications.
• Must meet state licensure requirements and fluoroscopy permit if ARRT certified.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Manage ordering of inventory and supply chain under facility PAR level.
• Monitor per case expense and offer cost saving ideas.
• Maintain department in compliance with governing and accreditation agencies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment.
• Recognize overexposure of radiation and explain basic radiation physics, biology, and safety to minimize exposure.
• Follow AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) and be flexible with reassignments.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory input; participate as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)

State licensure requirements (e.g., Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist license and Fluoroscopy permit)
