Lee's Summit Medical Center in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. You will plan and evaluate patient care before, during and after procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and monitoring vital signs and sedation levels.

You will provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing staff, while delivering pre- and post-procedure education and emotional support tailored to age, culture, and condition.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing license is required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Minimum 1 year ICU/ER nursing experience; cardiovascular lab experience preferred.
• Basic equipment and machine skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans before, during and after the procedure to optimize outcomes and resources.
• Create and maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs, sedation levels and physical/emotional well-being.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and policies.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient education and emotional support appropriate to age, culture, condition and circumstance.
