Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech II in New Jersey to assist physicians with invasive cardiac, neuro, and vascular procedures, including electrophysiology and structural heart work. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist program or radiologic technologist program or graduate of an applied science program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platform.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes specific equipment and sterile tray for each procedure.
• Assists procedure room team with the positioning and preparation of patient monitoring.
• Calibrates and tests transducers for accurate pressure readings.
• Assists physicians throughout diagnostic, and/or all interventional procedures.
• Loads and operates power injector and associated sterile support equipment; maneuvers table controls as requested.
