Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD, is seeking an Angio Technologist for a part-time/PRN role in Medical Imaging Services. The position involves assisting physicians in interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization with sterile technique and precise equipment settings.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program, licensed in Maryland, ARRT certified, with BLS; certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography or RCVS is preferred for

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist by the State of Maryland.
• Certificate in Cardiac Interventional Radiography or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist preferred for Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) and Life Support training as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Preps patients for procedures using sterile technique.
• Observes patients during exam/procedure, reporting any abnormal activity.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and organization-related information.
• Identifies care needs of patients/significant others and implements interventions with necessary equipment.
• Participates in quality assessment and improvement programs.
• Completes other duties as assigned such as on-call, transporting patients, cleaning rooms, stocking supplies, peer review.

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification

Maryland Licensure as Radiologic Technologist
