Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring seeks an Angio Technologist to produce high-quality examinations while ensuring professional patient care in Medical Imaging Services or the Cardiac Catheterization Lab; you will assist physicians in interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures with precise positioning and proper sterile technique.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• Certificate or licensure as Radiologic Technologist in Maryland (ARRT certification).
• Cardiac Interventional Radiography certificate or RCIS is strongly preferred.
• BLS certification; additional Life Support training as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Preps patients for procedures using sterile technique.
• Assists physicians in interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization.
• Maintains sterile technique and monitors equipment for proper functioning.
• Performs high quality imaging studies with precise positioning and settings.
