Job summary

Roseville Community Schools in Roseville, Michigan seeks an Intervention Specialist for the 2026/2027 school year. Location: To Be Determined; hours are 5 ¾ per day with a ½ hour unpaid lunch; starting date is immediate.

The role offers guidance, tutoring and remediation under the direction of a classroom teacher. Prior teaching endorsement is preferred, but substitute-eligible candidates are welcome to apply. Salary is $150 per day.

Qualifications

• Certified teacher endorsement in reading/language arts or mathematics preferred.
• Alternative: meet MDE requirements as a substitute teacher.
• Ability to work with students in small group or classroom settings.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Record of reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide guided instruction, tutoring and remediation with direction from classroom teacher.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
