  • Use reinforcement techniques to support student growth.
  • Invite and involve families in student progress discussions.
  • Create and distribute quarterly progress reports.
  • Consult with on-site therapists on disciplinary and behavioral issues.
  • Maintain a safe, productive classroom environment.

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire an Intervention Specialist to join our staff and work in an amazing school! Intervention Specialist Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
  • Ohio Teacher License - Intervention Specialist grades k-12
Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for each of the students in your care
  • Communicate with other staff and family members about each student's progress and struggles
  • Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit them to administrators for approval
  • Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school
