Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking an Intervention Specialist to join our team in a school setting. You will create and implement IEPs, collaborate with staff and families, and develop detailed lesson plans.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student.
  • Communicate with staff and families about each student's progress and struggles.
  • Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit them to administrators for approval.
  • Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school.
  • Use individualized reinforcement techniques to support student progress.
  • Invite family members to participate in each student's educational progress.
  • Create and distribute progress reports quarterly.
  • Consult with on-site therapist regarding disciplinary and behavioral issues.
  • Create a safe, productive classroom environment.

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire an Intervention Specialist to join our staff and work in an amazing school! Intervention Specialist Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
  • Ohio Teacher License - Intervention Specialist grades k-12
