• Evidence of successful teaching.

Responsibilities

• Helps students learn subject matter and skills contributing to development.
• Plans a program of study that meets individual needs with written prep upon request.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Employs instructional methods and materials aligned to objectives.
• Assesses student progress and provides progress reports as required.
• Counsels with colleagues, students and/or parents regularly.
• Maintains accurate records as required by policy and regulations.
• Attends staff meetings and serves on staff committees.
• Assists in the development of IEPs and accommodations.
• Monitors progress in accordance with the IEP.
• Reports to and carries out other responsibilities as assigned by the principal.
