Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Helps students learn subject matter and skills contributing to development.
• Plans study programs to meet individual needs and prepares documentation.
• Creates a conducive classroom environment and employs appropriate instructional methods.
• Assesses student progress and provides reports; counsels with staff, students, and parents.
• Assists in implementing policies; develops classroom rules and maintains order.
• Coordinates with aides/volunteers and evaluates performance with department heads.
• Maintains accurate records and participates in IEP development and accommodations.
• Monitors progress per IEP and carries out additional responsibilities as assigned.
