Job summary

LEARN Regional Educational Service Center is seeking an Intervention Specialist to join the Regional Multicultural Magnet School (RMMS) Student Support Services team, serving students in grades 2-7. The role focuses on targeted academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports to help learners grow and thrive.

You will work with teachers and families, implement individualized intervention plans, monitor progress with data, and foster inclusive classrooms.

Qualifications

• Candidates must meet one of the following requirements: Associate's Degree, completion of at least 60 college credits, or Bachelor's Degree; OR High School Diploma with successful ParaPro assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.
• Support students individually and in small groups.
• Help develop organization, self-regulation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Implement intervention plans and accommodations aligned with student needs.
• Collect student data and monitor progress; collaborate with teachers, specialists, families, and support staff.
• Foster positive behavior and inclusive learning environments.
• Build meaningful relationships that promote student confidence, resilience, and engagement.
