The Western Buckeye Educational Service Center is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Intervention Specialist.
This position will provide instructional and special education support across school districts and Western Buckeye programs in Paulding and Van Wert Counties filling short and long term needs while supporting students with disabilities, collaborating with school teams, and helping ensure continuity of high-quality services.
The Intervention Specialist provides specialized instruction to students with disabilities by developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), adapting curriculum, and using a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
The role includes maintaining student progress data, collaborating with teachers and families, and ensuring compliance with state and federal special education requirements.
Responsibilities also include creating a positive learning environment, supporting student academic and behavioral growth, and maintaining required documentation and communication.
