Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a dedicated Special Education professional to lead a small 6-student classroom, delivering individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals. You will collaborate with RBTs, BCBAs, and integrated therapists while collecting data to monitor progress and adjust strategies.

• Bachelor's degree in special education or related field.
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License or Alternative Resident Educator License.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
• Strong collaboration and communication with families and school teams.
• Dedication to inclusive, student-centered instruction and behavioral support.
• Comfortable with challenging behaviors and openness to learning support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small, manageable 6-student classroom with individualized, hands-on daily instruction.
• Work alongside RBTs serving as paraprofessionals who understand ABA and data collection.
• Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts; access to Occupational Therapist and Speech Language Pathologist integrated into programming.
• Plan and teach lessons aligned with each student's IEP goals.
• Assess academic, behavioral, and social growth and adjust instruction using data.
• Partner with families and service providers to coordinate student support.
• Maintain clear documentation to support compliance and progress monitoring.
