Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide engaging, differentiated instruction for students ages 5–21. You will design and adapt lessons, prepare materials, and deliver direct instruction across varied classroom settings to help each student reach their full potential.

You will collaborate with families and staff, implement IEP goals, and apply behavioral strategies while supporting classroom assistants and paraeducational staff to foster a safe, inclusive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and goal implementation.
• Ability to adapt curriculum and instruction for diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Flexible, positive, and collaborative approach to working with students and staff.

Responsibilities
