Job summary

Total Education Solutions is seeking an Intervention Specialist in Fairlawn, Ohio, to provide individualized and small-group instruction in reading, writing, and math. This role includes collaborating with parents, educators, and maintaining IEPs per IDEA regulations.

Applicants must have a valid special education credential or general education license, pass background checks, and have current TB tests. A supportive team environment focused on student success and creative teaching flexibility is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Special Education Credential & ODE License or General Education License with willingness to obtain Intervention Specialist licensure.
• Ability to pass current BCI/FBI background checks.
• Current TB Test (within the last 12 months).
• Valid automobile insurance meeting required liability limits (25/50k coverage).

• Provide individualized and small‑group instruction in reading, writing, math and other academic support areas as needed.
• Collaborate and communicate ongoing student progress with parents and teachers.
• Develop and maintain compliant documentation, progress reports and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
