Beavercreek City Schools is seeking an Intervention Specialist at Ankeney Middle School.
Certification/Licensure: All applicants must possess a valid Ohio Certificate/License in the appropriate areas. All applicants must possess or be eligible for a valid Ohio educator license or certificate for the appropriate grade level and content area(s) of instruction.
Science of Reading Information: Beavercreek City Schools is committed to meeting the requirements of Ohio Revised Code 3313.6028, which mandates districts to use the science of reading for literacy instruction. "Science of Reading" is defined as an interdisciplinary body of scientific evidence informing how students learn to read and write proficiently. New employees will receive guidance on professional development based on their teaching assignment and timeline for completion.

Salary Range: Starting from the approved teacher salary schedule, ranges are as follows:
Included in the contract are benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid Personal Leave, and Sick Leave.
Work Schedule: 184 days per year. New Staff Orientation is scheduled for August 6-8, 2025. First workday is August 12, 2025.
