AREA15 Las Vegas is seeking an Interstellar Arc Operator to safely run immersive attractions and VR equipment, guiding guests through interactive experiences with a strong emphasis on safety and guest satisfaction. This role involves ticketing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment while delivering themed interactions that enhance the AREA15 experience.

As part of a dynamic team, the Operator will handle guest flow, promote AREA15 products, and uphold AREA15 service standards.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Guide guests through immersive environments and VR experiences, delivering themed interactions.
  • Operate VR equipment and attraction technology per procedures.
  • Assist guests with fitting and using VR headsets; maintain equipment cleanliness.
  • Report equipment issues and perform basic troubleshooting.
  • Provide safety instructions and exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Manage queues and guest flow to maintain capacity and experience quality.
  • Promote and sell Interstellar Arc tickets and AREA15 passes.
  • Complete required safety, inspection, and incident documentation.

Position Interstellar Arc Operator
Description

The Interstellar Arc Operator is responsible for safely operating immersive attractions and VR equipment while guiding guests through interactive experiences. This role ensures equipment readiness, manages guest flow, enforces safety procedures, assists with basic troubleshooting, promotes and sells attraction tickets and Experience Passes, and delivers engaging, themed guest service. Selected candidates must complete and maintain all required attraction-specific certifications through on-the-job training.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Guide guests through immersive environments, interactive exhibits, sensory installations, and VR-enhanced experiences while delivering themed interactions that support the Interstellar Arc storyline.
  • Operate VR equipment, interactive systems, tablets, and other attraction technology in accordance with established operating procedures.
  • Assist guests with the proper fitting, adjustment, use, and removal of VR headsets and related equipment.
  • Inspect, clean, sanitize, charge, and organize VR equipment while maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the attraction.
  • Perform basic technical troubleshooting and promptly report unresolved equipment or system issues.
  • Monitor guests throughout the experience, provide assistance or redirection when necessary, and respond appropriately to signs of discomfort, motion sickness, or disorientation.
  • Provide clear safety instructions, attraction information, and exceptional guest service in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage attraction queues, guest flow, and group progression through scheduled experience zones to maintain capacity, throughput, and a positive guest experience.
  • Observe guest behavior and attraction conditions to identify, prevent, and promptly report potential safety hazards.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to operational interruptions , technical issues, guest concerns, and emergency situations.
  • Complete required operational, safety, inspection, and incident documentation accurately and on time.
  • Identify, de-escalate, and resolve guest conflicts or disturbances professionally while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
  • Promote, sell, and process Interstellar Arc tickets, AREA15 Experience Passes, and other assigned products in accordance with established procedures.
  • Participate in team huddles, technical updates, training, and guest-flow coordination.
  • Verify tickets, reservations, and scheduled booking times and provide information about regarding Interstellar Arc and other AREA15 offerings.
  • Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
  • Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
