Placements24 is seeking a Long-Distance Goods Haulier to operate interprovincial routes from the Queenstown depot. The role demands extensive knowledge of South Africa’s road networks, safe loading and secure transport of diverse cargo, and a commitment to timely deliveries.

Formación

• Valid Code 14 or equivalent license with PDP (if SA).
• Significant experience as a long-distance truck driver in SA.
• Strong knowledge of South African road networks.

Responsabilidades

• Operate heavy goods vehicles on interprovincial routes.
• Load, secure and unload cargo per procedures.
• Plan routes to meet delivery deadlines.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects.
• Maintain driver logs and delivery documentation.
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Keep vehicle clean and in good condition.
• Communicate delivery status with dispatch.
• Manage rest periods and travel time effectively.
• Represent the company professionally with clients.
