Goodwill SOLAC is seeking an experienced Language Interpreter on a contract basis to support clients in medical, business, and education settings. The role covers both in-person and remote interpretation, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and culturally sensitive communication.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English and a target language, hold certification or be prepared for testing, and can pass Livescan/background checks. Training on HIPAA and CHIA code of conduct is expected.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and target language.
• Certified or prepared to be tested in interpreted language.
• Livescan and background checks required.
• HIPAA and Cultural Sensitivity trainings familiar.
• Adhere to CHIA Professional Code of Conduct standards.
• Experience with consecutive interpretation; simultaneous a plus.
• Experience in medical, business, and education settings.
• Face-to-face and remote interpreting experience.

• Rates are negotiable*

• Facilitate interpretation in a variety of subjects: in Medical, Business, and Education Settings
• Be experienced with both face to face and remote interpreting.
