Role Overview

As a face‑to‑face interpreter, you will use your language skills to assist others during medical, social service and other types of appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation services during medical, social service and other appointments.

Requirements

• Located in Central Ohio area.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check and a 10‑panel drug screening (at no cost to you).
• Proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training of at least 40 hours.
• Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or completion of a third‑party bilingual fluency evaluation.

Additional Information

• As a contractor, you decide your own schedule.
• Assignments are available 24/7/365 (most during business hours).
• You can take as many or as few assignments as you wish.
• No previous professional interpretation experience required; we also welcome speakers of English as a second language.
