Job summary

Linguava in Portland, Oregon is seeking an Interpreter Engagement Specialist to grow and activate our interpreter network in healthcare partnerships. You’ll build relationships, recruit interpreters, and design programs that connect interpreters to clients and communities in need.

You’ll represent Linguava at events, collaborate with Recruiting, Compliance, Credentialing, and Operations, and travel as needed to support activation across the region.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer success or interpreter relations, or related field.
• Experience building relationships and proactive outreach.
• Experience in language services, healthcare interpretation, or related field.
• Experience as an interpreter or with interpreters.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to travel throughout Portland metro area and beyond as needed.
• Comfort representing an organization at events and professional gatherings.

Responsibilities

• Build and activate Linguava’s interpreter community.
• Support recruitment and network growth.
• Represent Linguava at interpreter events and communities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to meet client needs.
• Plan, track, and improve engagement programs.
• Develop annual calendar of engagement and recruitment activities.
