Freelance Interpreter (Indian Language)

Location: Los Angeles

Contract: Freelance (part-time)

Salary: 1200$ per month

This is a freelance interpreter position to provide verbal translation services for clients who speak an Indian language.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation between English and the specified Indian language
• Interpret conversations, meetings, and other events as required by clients
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Familiarize yourself with industry-specific terminology to ensure accurate interpretation
• Keep up‑to‑date with cultural and linguistic developments in both languages

Requirements

• Must be fluent in English and the specified Indian language
• Previous experience as an interpreter preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working with diverse groups of people
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required

No formal qualifications are required, but fluency in both languages is essential.

This is a freelance position without accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own transportation to travel to various locations within Los Angeles.
