Job summary

Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance (DZCA) is seeking an Interpretation Programs Coordinator to coordinate live staff- and volunteer-led interpretive experiences across campus, helping evolve audience-centered programs that bring DZCA’s Care, Connect, and Conserve stories to life.

You will support daily operations, train staff and volunteers, plan and evaluate programs, and collaborate with partners across departments to deliver engaging visitor experiences while upholding DZCA values.

Qualifications

• Completion of a high school degree or equivalent required.
• 4+ years' experience in environmental education, museum or informal science institution education and interpretation, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill in presentation and interpretation.
• Demonstrated experience developing and facilitating audience-centered programs/experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support consistent, high-quality daily interpretive operations and evolve audience-centered experiences.
• Assist in developing, prototyping, testing, and implementing new interpretive concepts.
• Develop programs with scalable, repeatable implementation.
• Create and maintain content standards and accessible resources for staff and volunteers.
• Manage supplies for staff and volunteers working in interpretive public programs.
• Oversee daily program staff scheduling with Interpretation specialists and manager.
