Job summary
COLSA Corporation in Huntsville is seeking an Interoperability Test and Evaluation Engineer with 5–10 years of experience. You will plan, execute, and analyze real-time test results from Patriot-related software and interfaces, and support certification efforts (AIC/JITC). The role requires independent work, strong communication, and ability to deliver technical documentation. The position is on-site at COLSA.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Math or equivalent experience.
5-10 years interoperability experience with Link16/JREAP/IBS/CMF.
Applicants must hold (or be able to obtain) a DoD SECRET clearance; US citizenship required.
Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 6 months of hire.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Apply well developed test and evaluation methodologies to support Patriot customer test goals.
Assess Tactical Data Links in simulated environments (Link-16, MIL-STD 6016, JREAP, MIL-STD 3011, Link 11A/B).
Assess INTEROPERABILITY of IBS and CMF interfaces.
Define test cases and provide technical direction for test stimuli.
Author/develop test plans, procedures, and reports; analyze data.
Coordinate with site personnel for lab architecture and configurations.
Operate IES and NSITE; complete Software Problem Reports.
