Job summary

COLSA Corporation in Huntsville is seeking an Interoperability Test and Evaluation Engineer with 5–10 years of experience. You will plan, execute, and analyze real-time test results from Patriot-related software and interfaces, and support certification efforts (AIC/JITC). The role requires independent work, strong communication, and ability to deliver technical documentation. The position is on-site at COLSA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Math or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years interoperability experience with Link16/JREAP/IBS/CMF.
• Applicants must hold (or be able to obtain) a DoD SECRET clearance; US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Apply well developed test and evaluation methodologies to support Patriot customer test goals.
• Assess Tactical Data Links in simulated environments (Link-16, MIL-STD 6016, JREAP, MIL-STD 3011, Link 11A/B).
• Assess INTEROPERABILITY of IBS and CMF interfaces.
• Define test cases and provide technical direction for test stimuli.
• Author/develop test plans, procedures, and reports; analyze data.
• Coordinate with site personnel for lab architecture and configurations.
• Operate IES and NSITE; complete Software Problem Reports.
