Job summary

SAIC seeks an Interoperability System Test Engineer to support large-scale distributed test events and federations at Redstone Arsenal. You will help execute test plans, install and troubleshoot software for Modeling and Simulation efforts supporting USPACOM.

Travel up to 30% overseas for exercise deployment and user support. Requires DoD 8570.01-M IAT II or higher, active Secret clearance, and US citizenship, with passport within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; four years lab experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Experience with RHEL, Ubuntu and Windows OS.
• Willing to travel 30% overseas for installation, testing and exercise events.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of large-scale distributed test events and federations.
• Develop and execute automated test plans and pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
• Validate REST APIs, data ingestion endpoints, and network payloads under load.
• Maintain system security compliance and apply DISA STIGs.
• Document updates for user manuals and procedures.
