Universal Orlando is offering a Finance Internship as part of its Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program. You will work with the Finance team to support accounts payable processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a real-world setting.

This in-person role in Orlando provides hands-on project work, exposure to various finance functions in a Fortune 500 environment, and opportunities to develop analytical and problem‑solving skills while learning how finance teams drive

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor or Graduate degree; junior or above.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8; transcript required.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Analytics.
• Strong Excel proficiency and communication skills.
• Able to work in-person in Orlando; housing/transportation arrangements are the intern's responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assists Finance with account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Supports Accounts Payable with invoice review and audits.
• Updates AP log and retrieves vendor invoices.
• Collaborates on month‑end close and financial updates.
• Assists with invoicing, including translations as needed.
• Performs data analysis and reporting to support finance operations.

JOB SUMMARY:

Build the foundation for a successful finance career as a Finance Intern with Universal Creative. In this role, you will collaborate with finance professionals, business partners, and vendors to support financial operations and accounts payable processes that help keep the business running efficiently.

Through hands‑on project work, you will gain exposure to a variety of finance functions within a Fortune 500 organization. You will assist with processing invoices, reconciling accounts, managing vendor relationships, and supporting financial reporting activities while developing a practical understanding of financial operations and business processes. This internship offers an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a professional environment, build analytical and problem‑solving skills, and learn how financial teams support organizational success through effective planning, reporting, and operational excellence.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists Finance team with various account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Assists Accounts Payable team with invoice review and audits.
• Updates Accounts Payable log and tracks down invoices from vendors.
• Works with Finance and Universal Creative Project Team in completing month end close, financial update, and ad‑hoc requests.
• Supports AP team with invoicing (including invoices that may require translation).
• Assists with month‑end close, data entry, and verifying transactions.
• Communicates with vendors on outstanding items.
• Performs data analysis in data reporting as needed.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• In pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
• A transcript is required upon application.

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• Preferred majors include: Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or similar.
• Preferred coursework completed: Finance, Accounting, Math
• Microsoft Excel proficiency is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, problem‑solving abilities and organization.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Superior written & verbal communication skills.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
• Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
• Consistent attendance.

• This internship will be an in‑person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
• Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2027.
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
• All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
